Werdohl Verlassene Orte (Lost Places Urbex) Siedlung in Elverlingsen 12.10.2015
Neben dem Kraftwerk im Werdohler Ortsteil Elverlingsen gibt es eine kleine Siedlung mit Miets- und Einfamilienhäusern, die seit über zwei Jahren komplett verlassen ist. Leergezogen wurde sie von den Kraftwerksbetreibern, die geplant hatten, die Häuser abzureißen, um dort das Kraftwerk zu erweitern.
Die bittere Ironie an der Geschichte: Durch die Energiewende in Deutschland ist der Betrieb von diesem Steinkohlekraftwerk so unwirtschaftlich geworden, dass es wohl bald außer Betrieb geht, die Erweiterung wird es also nie geben
