RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel both said they hoped for a successful dialogue as they met in Kremlin on Friday (August 20).

Among the topics to discuss Merkel pointed out the situation in Afghanistan and Libya as well as bilateral relations.
