Sydney is on her second van and has been living van life for over 2 years. She lives in her 2017 Ford Transit with her 2 dogs, Ella and Pearl. She went to college and was working 80+ hours a week and feeling completely burned out. She knew there had to be more to life, but needed financial freedom to get time to figure it out. In comes van life, which felt like an inexpensive way to give herself time to think and dream. Now she loves van-life and traveling with her dogs and has settled in a chaotic, beautiful new normal that feels just right for her.

We were incredibly unprepared when we received our first foster care placement. And even later during our foster care journey we were always learning new tips and tricks. We want to share these with you as well as a few foster care stories that we hope will be helpful to you during your time as a foster parent.
