EU imposes new sanctions on Belarus as migrant crisis escalates - BBC News
The European Union is to impose more sanctions on Belarus, aimed at everyone involved in facilitating the transport of people to the country's border with Poland.

Thousands of migrants are trapped on the border in temporary camps in freezing conditions.

The European Union has accused President Alexander Lukashenko’s regime of deliberately orchestrating the crisis, with migrants flying to Belarus from the Middle East and then being transported to the border of the EU.
