Poland stops migrants from crossing Belarus border | DW News
Tension is flaring between Poland and Belarus over the rise in migrants crossing into the EU. Troops from both countries have been deployed to the border. Poland has closed a border crossing and said it's prevented hundreds of people from crossing.

Talking to DW on Wednesday, the head of the center-right EPP bloc in the EU Parliament, Manfred Weber, called on Poland to be transparent about its response, and "accept assistance by the European forces," including Frontex. The German politician singled out Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for being foremost among key players in escalating the conflict.
